Bush meat ban can be disastrous for people living in central Africa. The complete ban on hunting wild animals for their meet would mean that there could be a danger of large wildlife species such as elephants and gorillas to be extinct within 50 years. Bush meat is a key diet for many in Central Africa. And it provides 80% of the protein and fat consumed. The problem is that more than a million tones of bush meat is produced every year. The only way to avoid any disastrous event is to legalize and regulate and control the bush meat.
