Automobile manufacturer mahindra & Mahindra launched its 'Micro hybrid' technology equipped variant of sports utility vehicles scorpio and Bolero,priced between 6.5 lakh and 6.97 lakh.This technological innovation was devloped with the support from bosch.This will give an average fuel saving f about five per cent from the normal vehicles.The micro hybrid techonlogy enables the vehicle engine to turn off automatically when idle in neutral gear.The engine restarts once the clutch is pressed.The company is planning to bring this technology in all of the compnay's high volume products ncluding mahindra pick up and other engine series such as M-Hawk.Mahindra & mahindra has also applied for a patent for a specific sensor which it has devloped as part of this technology.
