A 16 year old Hong Kong school girl unhappy about her appearance forged documents to get a bank loan to pay for plastic surgery.Chan yee-yee paid an older friend to supply her payrolls advice slips so she could apply for the 20,000 Hong Kong dollar loan(2,580 US dollars) and pay for the surgery.Chan,who successfully applied for the loan and has now repaid half of it,was found guilty of fraud and sentenced to 80 hours community service.Plastic surgery is a multi- million dollar industry in wealthy,image-conscious Hong kong where the leading teen idols are squeaky clean canto-pop stars.
