A scene where Krishnan drops his son at college and says "you are on your own now. We're grown men.Take care",you are not only overwhelmed by the maturity of the father, trying to push his son into the world but also crushed by surya's reply "Bye Daddy",with tears in his eyes.
So daddy taught him to fall in love. And he falls in love, twice. And both times, loving with all his heart.
The first half of the movie breezes away light heartedly with five of its seven songs coming even before the interval. The general pace of the movie is quick with scenes flashig by,all of them having some impact or the other on you.The latter half gets more serious and its message shows quite bluntly;saying no to drugs, booze and smoking. The movie hits the smokers hard as that is what ultimately leads to Krishnan's deadth.
Suriya as Krishnan is brillant and is almost perfect if it weren't for the make up that was screaming for attention. The youngster role too is equally brilliant and sometimes overshadows the older suriya' character. His oozing were too much for the girls to take.Simran looks graceful as she ages in the movie and in her quiet support and unending love for her husband.Samerra Reddy with her dashing smile looks adorable throughout and divya Spandana plays a mature, level headed priya who becomes a vital part of suriya's life later on in the movie.
